Guest Message

Have had two members send me PM's that came in under Guest Message. One was a response to a PM that I had sent him and the other was a PM that the member had sent me. The one member asked if I had received his PM and I told him it came in as a Guest Message and he thought that was odd since he sent as a regular PM.
For some reason, looks like the system is rerouting the PM's.

The senders name came in on their screen name but was received as visitor message. You can see messages on my profile page.

Lee,

From your Public Profile I can send you a "Visitor Message". Or, I can send you a "Private Message". Have a look. There are three Visitor messages, conversations there that I can see in your Profile. Are those the messages you are referring to here?

I think anybody can see Visitor messages in other member's profiles page, but maybe not. Sometimes I can see things as a Moderator that others can't see. I also think that you can edit or delete those that show in your Public Profile. If not, PM me and I'll see if I can "kill 'em" for you.

Thank you for taking care of this for the member
