Looking at buying a F6B in a few months. I am a long time Harley and BMW guy. I'm not to comfy walking into these multi-line dealerships where no-one knows more than you do about the bike you are interested in. Is there a Honda only dealership in the Valley? Or maybe one that knows a little about Goldwings. I guess buying it really makes no difference, but if I had a warranty issue, I would be worried about support from my local Honda-Suzuki-Polaris-Yamaha dealer.
I may have to deal with RideNow, they may give me the best deal with my HD trade, since they run Chandler Harley. I have bought from them before, but can't imagine using their service dept.
Western Honda is private owned and not multi line brand cycles.
Sales reps there are some waht laid back and at times can seem uninterested in selling. Not a high pressure sales there , that I have seen. Bought my first goldwing new there in 1980 , a GL1100

Ride Now runs Arrowhead HD too, I'd sell your bike yourself if possible, dealers will kill you on a trade. I sold my last bike on Craigslist, seemed to work out pretty good for me
Coyote and Go AZ in Scottsdale both have several in stock. Like to frequent Go AZ as I think they have the best selection of quality riding gear in the Valley.
I mistakenly tried to do a deal with Ride Now Chandler. After that mess, I was kinda bummed out, but decided to try again. I called Western Honda and they said they could make me a deal. So I rode the Harley over, in less than 2 hours I was riding my F6B Deluxe home. Fast, friendly, and the right price.
Congrats, Western is a good place to do business. RideNow takes a lot of patience but you can get deals there if you are one of those tough negotiators. I'm not but I have a friend who has no problem working them for a month or more to get a deal, but he enjoys the game more than merchandise.
chipmaker; congrats on the F6B bike. Ride the wheels off it
You are not alone on being bummed by Ride Now. I know a couple fellows in past year that can make some colorful comments on their sales tactics there.
One fellow tried to buy a few parts to install different model wheels on his Fat Boy. Got into an argument about "looks" of the wheels on his bike with parts guy. That was dumb, they lost a customer for life
Are you talking about the big biker looking guy that tries to be a comedian as he tries to get you to buy a bunch of add on crap you don't need??
I just said no to everything and bought the bike...
I may go back by there today and chat with them about the paint...

Yeah me and him are just way to different to work together, I didn't care for the way he did the paperwork on my last bike.
Let me know what they say about the paint. My dealer is pushing Honda but so far Honda hasn't done or said to much of anything, so their hands are kinda tied at this point . Its starting to get on my nerves, its a Major issue and something needs to be done.
Odd, I read the thread the other evening, now a log in required.
Finance guy at Western ..... I got a chuckle out of the comments here. when I bought my 2010 wing from them, I shut the guy down verbally. Even my wife was surprised at my blunt comment to him, but he shut up and prepared the paperwork.
Yeah I know, I started the first thread about the paint before the site crashed. I printed out the entire thread and mailed it to Honda. Will post any response from them here
Apparently our Website Hosting site has been attacked in some manner. We don't know if the data that we had on here prior to today will be retrieved. They are working on it but will not guarantee it. We sought out this Website Hosting company because they were supposed to back-up our data every 24 hours, to our surprise the back-up data has been corrupted. CYber Attack? Sabotage? no telling.
We are taking other precautions at this point to prevent this from happening again. Until we retrieve our past data, let's go ahead and repost any information that you have shared with everyone.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
