Went for a little ride therapy yesterday. Slightly over 300 miles...Goodyear, Superior, Winkleman, Globe, Roosevelt and return. Temperature ranged between 90 - 103 degrees. First delay caused by SUV roll over on 87 South...45 minutes for air ambulance and evacuation. Second delay a 9 car rear end accident on the 202 West bound around 32nd Street. Third delay caused by a 3 car rear ender on the 10. Moral of the therapy is realizing how difficult it is to be distracted on two wheels. Fairly sure that all three accidents were the result of distracted driving...certainly the rear enders...just speculation but as a CDL holder you would be amazed at what we see people doing behind the wheel...on second thought maybe you wouldn't. Be safe out there.

That's just crazy, yesterday was Tuesday, doesn't anybody work anymore? sheesh! Hope your ride was more relaxing and therapeutic than it sounds.

Yep, love riding during the week whenever I can. Truth be told love riding everyday...LOL! Riding is always therapeutic for me, focus my mind on what's going on and blocks all the non-sense for awhile anyways.

You forget...a LOT of retirees out here in the desert...

I have every other Friday off, so during the summer, I'll do a short jaunt that'll eat up a few hours and a few miles, while my wife is at work.

I see there's a new Desert Diamond casino in Why. Not that a I give a crap about the casino, but it's a reason to ride...

Might have to enjoy some 105 degree riding tomorrow morning... :nojoke:

I always try and hit the local casinos in my area for either a lunch or early dinner buffet when I'm out riding. Good food at bargin prices. :yes1:

Not many casinos out this way - and they are priced accordingly, sadly.

Didn't get that ride in...started that day in a Dr's ofc being looked over, instead of a little yardwork while cool, then off to that casino.

I have a choice of 4 Casinos within a 50 mi. radius so the competition is fierce and another Casino is planned about 30 mi. from my house. All the Indian tribes (lots) in this area have really jumped on the bandwagon to build a Casino.
