Since we have not been able to get together since Death Valley, how about we try for lunch sometime in Nov?
How about Sat Nov 16th?

I vote Rudy's. Not much of a ride for you, but a nice one for me. Or Eloy, when I was down there all they had were two truck stops and a couple Motels. Had to go into Casa Grande to get something to eat.

Eva's Mexican is just down the street from the truck stops, you have to look for it a bit but the food is good. Eva's also has a second, much larger location, here in Casa Grande and just around the corner from my house.
I voted for Superior just because it would actually be a ride for me, the other places, apart from the one in Texas, would just be a run down the freeway and not that interesting.
When we tried to do this a few years ago, the Casa Grande location ended up being somewhat by default...but, I thought Eva's was in the running as well.
Yes, I'm in - I'll let some others do some choosin' before I'll add at least one to that list.
Marc - You considering Bite the Wieeenie 2013? If Dean chooses the weekend he typically does that, think it'll be on the following weekend.
EDIT: Heh - I see what you did there with City Market.
Thought my working BBG plan does have a turn-around receipt from Lum's in there. Now, that's not to say that it couldn't turn into a BB1500 instead...just have to plan out for any contingencies that might occur, y'know!
Wish I could attend any of these, but since I'm "safely" 1200 miles east of you, was there any thought given to Wisdom Café, south of Tubac? When I was there this past January, I finally crossed off this RTE and took care of several of their blatantly addictive fruit burritos.
You should try it once to see why you probably won't do it again. I mostly did the Beeline. Up & back going slow, with a judge on the back, sneaking up on people to give them a violation for something. Read boring.
Looks like Rudy's has the most votes. Let's hit it at 1100 on Saturday the 16th.Address is : 7300 West Chandler Blvd. There is no exit to Chandler from Westbound 202. You'll need to either loop around or get off at Kyrenne.

She was okay with me sneaking away for a bit but I would not have felt right about doing it. Sorry to have missed you both.
