Heading to TX

I've not been down that way...now you've given me a bit of inspiration. :thumbup:

Glad you liked them Ken. I really can't say that I have become a great fan of TX, but we did have a fun trip. I still think the western third of the USA is the best for variety, scenery, and roads, and most importantly, weather!

Ken, the Hill Country of Texas and the Twisted Sisters are the only real good riding areas in all of Texas for street/touring bikes.

Butler Maps now has a Hill Country map if you want to plan out the best places.

That depends on how you define "real good riding areas". The East Texas Piney Woods has some very nice riding as does Central Texas in Bastrop, Fayette, Austin, Washington and Lee Counties. The Highland Lakes area to the Northwest of Austin along the Colorado River also has some good riding.
