Since I head back to work for 7 days tomorrow, I thought I'd take a ride to Westworld and check out the Bike Week stuff. I was actually surprised at the number of vendors that were there, way better than previous years. Downside??....$20 bucks to get in, but you could stay for the evening concert if you like. I tried to get a ride on the new FJR at the demo tent, but I was pressed for time and had to leave before the next available demo time. Plenty of LED installers, Mustang seats, Vance & Hines, Dunlop, S&S, pinstripers and various clothing vendors were there for your shopping pleasure.
I saw an article on one of the local news sites that said the GoDaddy CEO dumped a bunch of money into sponsorship this year so that allowed for more vendors and entertainment. But it also said it was $50 admission to events, maybe it goes up on the weekend. I never go anyway so not a big deal for me. But glad to see more variety for those who go.
Mostly HD stuff, but Mustang Seats, Vance & Hines and the usual assortment of universal doo-dads were present. HD, Star/Yamaha and Kawasaki were there for demo rides.
