At Fire Bird. Free admission and free demo rides. I gave up paying for Bike Week so I'm going to give this a try. I'm heading down on Friday early to see what I can get a ride on....

Yeah, but if I say Fire Bird everyone knows what I'm talking about....

Pretty much the same in both places. I'll probably pass on it next year.

The Ride through tent was just a place for the "loud pipe crowd" to impress the captive audience. I had the misfortune to be walking through it during a demonstration.

The test rides were good. I Rode the Can Am Spyder and the Champion Trike.

Since they only had one GW and my friend is the one thinking of going to three wheels, I rode the Vision.

Thanks for the review...

After seeing your post, I just spent a couple minutes checking over the web pages.

I've not done Bike Week (yawn); your last post convinced me that a 'pass' is okay!

SWMBO has some work to do tomorrow; I have a "get out of the house free!" card to play. Glad to know that I won't be wasting it on that venue.

We went to Bike Fest today. The wife wanted to go. She's ridden pillon with me for 11 years but now since she got her own (Spyder), she wanted to go to a bike rally. We got there just as it opened at 10AM. Not too bad, I warned her that it probably would cater mostly to the V-twin crowd. It was OK, about what I expected, and I don't think she'll be bugging me to go to another.

On the way home going north on SR51 we got stuck in traffic caused by the escorted ride from the Bike Week event. They were herded into the HOV lane then we and other traffic were able to get by them. The longest line of bikes I've ever seen.

Between Bikefest and Bike Week, there was a lot of m/c out this weekend.

Yeah, my wife included. She hates the hot rides. I'm liking them less myself as I ease into the golden years. But Still hope to get some early morning rides in throughout the summer.
Weird...It seems that mine is a little more comfortable riding in temps between 80 and 100.

Sent from my teeny screen using my big fat fingers!
