Hey guys, Spyderman here, I went to get the Falken mounted and lo and behold the store didn't have that tire. They did have a Dunlop Direzza in 195-50-r16 so I decided to give that a go. Help I'm looking for is what tire pressure do you think I should use? I put in 34 psi but hoping either my guess is right or someone has experience with this tire. If nothing else it looks cool, LOL.

Well I have been reading everything I could read and talked to a couple of friends about the car tires. I needed to replace the Metzler on the rear so I decided to try a Kuhmo run flat this go round. I got the tire on today and went for a short ride with a mix of back country roads both straights and twisties. I could tell a slight handling difference between the tires but nothing real dramatic. The tire feels smoother and seems quieter even up to 90 mph and I guess a few more miles will tell me what I want to know. I'm planning to ride up to West Virginia next weekend to see family and friends and I'll probably put close to a thousand miles on it. I guess I need to get my darksider number and decal and I'll be official,

The wife and I were riding home from a 650 mile 3 day trip, about 125 miles out from home I started to experience a slow speed deceleration front end...

The wife and I were riding home from a 650 mile 3 day trip, about 125 miles out from home I started to experience a slow speed deceleration front end wobble:o4:. Didn’t think too much of it but was concerned. When we got home I noticed the wobble:22yikes: was a little more intense when bringing it up in front of the house. I have posted many threads since regarding this issue and have received just as many, if not more, responses. I just now asked the wife if she had felt anything on the ride home (better late than never), and she indicated that the back tire felt like it was wobbling about 75 miles before we got home. So today I have the bike up on its center stand, started it up and put it in first gear. I have of course immediately noticed an irregular tire with one large hump just left of center approximately 6 inches long:o4::22yikes:. It was so visible the wife even noticed it:wrong:.

Okay now for the fun stuff, I have researched big balls bearings, fork brace, balancing beads, balancing ring, complete suspension rebuild, and of course the proverbial new tires front and rear. I went to Honda yesterday and was asking about their recommendations for 2 new tire sets and they are pushing Dunlap and Michlem only, with Dunlap being the highest rated M/T for load rating. I have also read up on the dark side C/T replacement. I need your help. The bike, the passengers, and the luggage do weigh more than the suggested bikes overall capacity. What do I do first, second, and third? I need to know how to jack the bike up to remove the back wheel, suggestions on a car tire size and make. After this in some logical order additional items to provide me with a safer and more secure ride for the wife and I. I know all of you with such wonderful experiences would like to help, so if you could please provide information in bullet format for ease of understanding that would very helpful.

Its a wonderful site to watch them work there horses and steel wheeled farm machinery. it was an awesome day to ride just the right temps and the scenery was awesome.
