I bought a Motoport 2 piece suit this past fall and they recommended using this stuff when it starts to leak a bit. Holy cow! Expensive!

So my bottle came past week. After two sprays my wife almost called 911 to air out the house! This stuff stinks! It has a VERY strong petroleum type odor.

Anyway, for those of you who have tried it, what do you think?

Have been using it for years. I bought an 8 ounce bottle for $10 a couple of years ago. I use it on the seats as well as all the rubber and plastic parts, and it details everything nicely. I also used it on the boat before I got rid of it.

I had to run out ad check my bottle because I did not know if it repels water. After reading the label it it made no mention of it.

I have an aftermarket seat which actually stitched, so wonder if that could be a solution to waterproofing the seat.

Other than that, a great product.

I've used it for years and highly recommend it. I use it everywhere you would use Armour All. Didn't know it was waterproof though. I use it on the plastic on the wing. Here is why I like it so much. It is also a cleaner so I will use it when the bike is dirty enough to wash, not grubby or gritty. I spray it on and don't worry too much about smearing the paint, just make sure I cover the plastic. I don't try to wipe much excess off either. After 15 minutes I wash the bike with warm water and car wash soap and it removes all the excess 303. Towel dry it and the paint isn't smeared either. Beats trying to neatly use Armour All after it's washed without making a mess on the paint. Nice dark look to the plastic without the shiny wet look. Works great on fiberglass too.

When I had my boat I would cover the whole boat with it. Made the scum from the lake wipe right off after putting it on the trailer. I do use it on the seat several times a year, on the MC.

Well, I found the 'problem' I don't really mean Formula 303 - but I do use that too. I meant High Tech Fabric Guard 303. Seems to repel well but sure has a strong odor.

LD, is this a waterproofer for vinyl and plastic? I am just curious as I have an after market seat with top stitching. I would like to at least eliminate a bit of it. Thanks

It says, "use 303 HTHG on indoor & outdoor fabrics, upholstery & carpeting. For all natural and synthetic textiles & blends - solution dyed acrylic, polyester, nylon, cotton, wool, silk, and fine leathers including suede. So it seems like it would be a good choice for your application.

I bought it & sprayed my riding pants & gloves with it but didn't note any objectionable odor. Best to spray things outside to avoid having overspray mess on the floor though. I bought mine at the local auto parts store, they carry both the 303 fabric protector & the one you use on the plastic
