For you knowledgeable wrenches on here, I have a question about the Tiregard.
I've just installed the Tiregard TPMS on my 2001 GL1800. Running Bridgestone 709 front with 39 PSI and Michelin Primacy Alpin rear with 29 PSI.
Now the big question: Approximately how much rise in temp and pressure should I expect?
Thanks in advance for your input on this question.
You are running the same combo I am...it has been a while, but I think the ambient air/road surface had a lot to do with the temperature readings I got....pressure seems pretty consistent with never more than 6 psi on the stone and less on the Alpin in high heat and long 75mph freeway runs.
I run 30 psi in my rear Primacy and it rises to close to 40 psi at times. The front E3 or Avon seem to rise up to 6 psi higher than the 40 psi at the start.
Last week my handlebar mounted Tiregard display started to flash so I replaced the battery. Now it only picks up the front tire. The rear tire only displays 32 psi. Is there anyway to reset the unit or have I lost the rear tire reading forever?

Is that by pressing the set and temperature button at the same time?
Yes, all batteries are good
