Had Las Vegas DynoJet install and dyno the power commander v.As you can see there was was some big changes in the mapping.Let me tell you,the changes in throttle respone, smoothness, rapid acceleration I can feel!!the gentleman know what they are doing,he had the bike 2 days showed 64 runs on his computer I WAS VERY IMPRESSED on the detail he showed me.left the bike clean got the bike back clean, rode to 8500. ft ran flawless, looking foward to death valley next weekend I'm sure it will run great!
We don't know what it started at. if that same machine would've shown 96 HP before the new map, I would take it in a minute.
You can feel 5 hp easily. anything 8 and up, you'll think you are on a different bike.
If mine would end up at about 108, $500.00 would be a bargain!
But as I said in my previous post, it's not all about the numbers when you are tuning FI. It is about how the power gets applied. With the same peak HP, one bike could be much faster than the other, depending on the map that each is running.
look at the numbers on the original poster fuel map chart, it is tuned in the midrange the most, the smaller the number the less of change it made, so it typically, on this application would improve the midrange. For my earlier post, my tach reads 3250 at 75 mph, just over 3000 at 70. I only have 7,000 miles on mine, so I know it is not clutch slippage.
My 2003 was about .6 second faster before the updated computer program. After the update the snap was gone. The only thing is Honda changed the program because of overheating. Changing the program will probably increase the chance of overheating.
