Audio Temp related fubar

Thought I would pass this along FWIW.

I Live in Arizona, very toasty here also. This am temp was only 97 and I fired it up, turned on the bikeMP3, and road off.
The MP3 volume was a little low, so I bumped it up with LH switch vol. The volume display locked up displying last volume
setting. All LH switch controls were in-operable as were all functions on the main audio control panel. I Stopped, switched
off ignition and then back on. Vol display was now blank and stayed that way after trying every functon on the LH switch cluster
and main audio panel. The BikeMP3 continued to go though the play list at this time. Went back home, shut off ignition and wow,
BikeMP3 continued playing with the ignition off.

I don't know why I did it, but I disconnected the battery for about 30 sec and reconnected. Low and behold, all functons operable
from LH module and main console including the liquid crystal display. I'm sure there are a number of theorys, but I'm chalking it
up to riding in 115 degree heat yesterday and fixing lockup with dumb luck. YMMV

It's only if the electrons bump into neurons that you have anything to worry about!:?

You pressed the ASEL button while using the MP3 it can lock up the radio so when you turn off the bike the radio does not send out the shutdown command and it all stays on

Disconnecting the battery will resolve
