Just returned from a 5200 mile trip to the Black Hills, Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain park. On the way stopped in Hannibal, MO and Anamosa, IA at the J&P shin-dig. Great riding and the best part, didn't get rained on anywhere, somebody up yonder must like me! Pictures are coming. Rode through the Badlands, Iron Mtn, rd, Needles Hwy, Spearfish Canyon and more around Hill City. Alt 14 from Sheridan toward Red Lodge, Beartooth Pass, Chief Joseph Hwy and a few more around Cody then to CO and across 34 through the park. Then headed home it was the first time my wife had been out that way and she was amazed, GREAT TRIP!

i will be hitting the same ones in about 2 1/2 weeks on the nc700dct!
Yeah, that's what I've been telling my wife, but she has about 1200 pictures that she took to go thru to get some interesting ones. We left GA on the 24th of June and was in Hannibal, MO Sat afternoon, checked out the Mark Twain stuff and met our niece for supper. Then Sunday morning on to Iowa 80 Truck Museum in Walcott, from there up to Anamosa to the J&P party and motorcycle museum. Monday over to Mitchell,SD and the Corn Palace. Tuesday over to Murdo's pioneer Auto Museum and wound up at Wall Drug. Wednesday ; through the Badlands up Iron Mtn Rd and back down Needles Hwy to our cabin in Hill City where we spent until Saturday riding around the Black Hills. Then to Devils Tower and on to Sheridan for the night. Sunday across hwy alt14 and worked our way to Red Lodge, MT. Monday across Beartoothe Pass to Chief Joseph hwy and down to Cody for the rodeo. Then to Yellowstone, Tetons And Jackson Hole. Then down 2-lanes to Rocky Mtn National park and headed east toward home. No problems at all, it was a great trip.
