If there is such a thing as a “good motorcycle accident” then I had mine on April 26, 2016. I was waiting patiently at the light Spring Creek at SRT on the Gold Wing when a pickup traveling the opposite direction failed to stop at the red light. He was broadsided by 2 trucks that sent the pickup across the front of the bike. I was catapulted off the bike causing some minor scrapes and bruises, but being able to walk away I feel classifies this as “good motorcycle accident” in my opinion.

The Gold Wing however did not fare as well and was totaled by the insurance company. Since it has been several years since my wife has ridden with me and I have not traveled any besides to and from work, I have decided this is a good time to get off. I thoroughly enjoyed motorcycling the past 11 years and approximately 150,000 miles on two wheels. The beautiful places we traveled and numerous friends we made along the way truly enriched our lives. Although we will now be traveling on 4 wheels, we hope to continue those valued friendships.

Given my decision to get off, I have an abundance of motorcycle related items I no longer need. Some of the items are Gold Wing specific but many are motorcycle generic. I prefer contact by email jdenglere@yahoo.com if there is are items you want. That way I can respond in the order I receive requests. I prefer cash or PayPal payment. If you intend to pick up local, I live in The Colony, TX 75056 just 2 miles from Nebraska Furniture Mart.

Because I created the list and included photos of everything, it is too large a file to upload here.
I placed the list on a share drive https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4pQQQzm1zJ6Rk5iVnVjenFIRms&usp=sharing updated with only 2 items remaining
Thanks for your help in clearing out the garage and allowing me to move on to new adventures.

Jim, thank you! Excellent ad format, (although my less than 1mbps connection was infuriating waiting for the .pdf to load, it was like dial-up), and great prices!

BTW, hope you don't have my box sealed up yet, added a couple more small items.

I also had a very minor accident 3 years ago and sold my H-D --- thought I was done. Bought a Burgman 650 and rode that for 2 years...didn't scratch the itch I had. Was like kissing my sister. This past April I bought a 2008 neglected Goldwing, fixed her up, took off all the junk the owner slapped on her (huuuuge windshield, passenger arm rests, floorboards, crazy chrome everywhere, engine valve cover covers, etc) and a beautiful black GW was revealed. Point is, 56+ years of riding was not enough - I'm thinking it'll never be enough until I can't get my leg up over it anymore. I don't have the opportunity to go on long trips anymore, but I do a bunch of 50 mile rides around home. And, like just a few minutes ago, I can go out to the garage and stare at it, clean it, detail it, and a couple of times a week do 50 to 100 miles. God, I love it so.
