Well for all you Wingers from northern climes that get teased and tortured by those of us in the warmer southern regions, here is a Christmas dish of revenge:

Here is todays forecast in southern AZ. Was gonna go out for a spin on this nice day off...I have a miserable head cold. My lovely bride drives a school bus which you all know is a petri dish of boogers, plagues and other assorted maladies. I want to go but I hate the numb brain, plugged ear canals, and sneezing in my helmet sucks. I WANNA GO OUT AND PLAY!

Seems to be a very nasty cold going around, fortunately I have not caught it yet. Hopefully yours goes away pretty quick.
I am out riding today, currently the temperature is 26. But it’s supposed to get up to 28 and the sun is even supposed to come out for awhile.

That's just downright mean!:grin2: That is some sweet riding weather for sure. I used to live in NE and left skid marks out of there years ago. One of the main reasons were the long dreary winters. I left my whole family behind and to this day they still are in disbelief. Nobody leaves NE. Not only was the climate way to cold but the riding was very limited where I was in RI. Same roads for a few months then winter. It was like Groundhog Day. If your stuck in those climates because of family or job that's one thing but to choose it when you can get out is a:confused: for me especially if you love motorcycling. I do miss all the great Pubs though. Quaint neighborhood places. There really are Norm's all over NE. Looking forward to our Indian Summer days we get here in SC so I can get out. Enjoy!

I did 68 miles today.... that’s the round trip distance from my garage to the general store up in Summerhaven at 9000 ft. The lowest temperature I recorded was 51°. Beautiful day to hit the mountain. Very slow day up there. Most folks are running around in town trying to get things done I think.

My mission was to buy several pounds of homemade fudge for the holidays.

It’s a crappy job but someone has to do it.

I bet you enjoyed every mile too. What kinda riding gear do you use? Any electrics?
Thanks

I went around the Tucson Mountains this afternoon - traffic sucks - even out in the cactus patch.

Christmas and two birthdays of close family members in less than a week - and all of different days.

I'm lucky I got out for a bit today.
