When I look at the first motorcycles and realize what they built from scratch and the (lack of) technology that was available at the time, I am in awe. Simply amazing. I hope they spend at least a little bit of time on the actual bike development process. I expect the show is totally focused on the people involved, but I can still hope.
I suspect I spend a lot of time with the video paused and looking around the actors ... at the bikes.
No doubt. No matter what brand you prefer, shows like this, if done properly, and not as PR, are more about the fascinating people with visions that makes it great to watch. Harley, Honda, Apple, Microsoft, and many others that you can fill this thread with were probably all regarded as crazy dreamers in the beginning.
I lived in Cupertino when Apple, Atari, and all the other tech companies started, with Intel in its infancy a few miles away. I still remember going to some of the local geek fests when I was trying to break into electronics. If I had only known back then what those guys would become.
I've seen more than one Honda documentary on discovery or History or one of those.
Pretty interesting the way he started out.
