How many miles on car tires?

Elsewhere on this forum they're trying to add up how many miles we wingers have accumulated on our wings.

I've heard the figures of "millions of miles on car tires" bandied about. How about tallying this up? I'll start.

123,565 add yours to this and keep it going.

Well I posted in 2014 on this thread since that time I gained another 20k. New total is
9,947,658 .

Thank you all.......

.............for the posts, reposts and math help. Now we need someone with 54,000 miles to put us over 10 million miles!

10,000,000 miles without a failure (that I've read about except one fellow that ran a couple of hundred miles on a deflated runflat) seems to be quite a testament for the darkside!

97.35 percent of Wisconsin wingers are on car tires . Let me go to that board and shoot a plea . Should hit the goal with a few hours .

Not bad,,,,,, 25 minutes to assist help from my fellow Wi. Riders to get the goal done . Not bad, not bad at all , but I think we could do better . :doorag::lol:

I don't know how I missed this last year. So I have 82,179 miles on car tire not added in here.

9,947,658+82,179.

New total=10,029,837!!!

Scott....
Yeah!!!!

You da man!

Proof once again, that if you really want something done, you hand it off to a busy man.

I've added 8,488 since first posted so the grand total should be 10,038,325 if my cakylator is right.

10,038,32+90,000=10,938,32 There!
Missed the last digit on the right. It should read:

10,038,325
+ 90,000
10,128,325

Now, since I am most likely one of the newest noob's with a CT, I'll add a whopping total of 6 miles. Do I get something for this overachieving testament in riding with a CT?

10,128,325
+ 6

10,128,331

Miles on a car tire

So far I've worn out 2 Kumho's and one Dunlop Wintersport and I'm now on a Bridgestone Driveguard for a total of 79,535 miles. If I add my miles to the total I think it will be a grand total of 10,207,866.

math

FANTASTIC ! HIT THE 10 MILLION MARK.

Now for some house keeping: starting at post # 232 9,939,658
#234 + 81,179
= 10,021,837
#239 + 8,488
= 10,030,325
#246 +90,000
= 10,120,325
#241 + 6
= 10,120,331
#244 +79,535
= 10,199,866

You guys check my addition please, THANKS ALL.

10,199,866
+ 43000
--------------
10,242,866

Sorry so late, probably more but this is a safe number for me.

One more small add

I have been on them for 3 1/2 years now. So only adding 120K. Sorry for the small amount of riding.

Previous total - 10,380,366
My add 120,000
New running 10,500,366

Catch me next week with another thousand or so added.

Got tired of the Kumho 195/55/16 wearing out so fast at 30K. Trying a Yokohama Avid Ascend 195/60/16. Corrected speedo error. Put on in January with 12/32 tread depth. Measured at 30K an even 7/32 tread depth last weekend. Running 24 to 25 PSI. Looks like I have found a rear tire that will last longer than 1 year.
