    Default Rear End

Have a GL1899 with Champion Kit. What brand of 'rear End" is installed in this kit. Someone told me it is a Toyota? How bout the wheels? What type of brake pads should I use? thanks.

Champions Kits for the 1800 are not my expertise, but the rear end could be a Suzuki or Toyota. That depends on when the kit was made, what year. A quick call to the factory would certainly help. Did you find the ser# plate?

Quapa, It might be a good idea to print this out. When my trike was having a leaky rear end, I used the manual to get it some depends.

My 06 ( which I bought new in 06) has a Toyota. My dealer stated that when Champion ran out of those, they were switching to Suzuki.
Reason being was that Toyota couldn't keep Champion supplied.
Since then, Champion has the IRS model.
If you now order a solid axle, I don't know who's you would get.

Welp, got a call from The Champion Trike Technician. Told me that if on the rear of the "flange" if there was a NUT that the rear end would be a Toyota. If it was "threaded" it would be a Suzuki. Now to find some skinny enough to crawl under and look. I would do it myself, but once I am down, I have to call
9-1-1 to get up. Hope you guys know what I'm talking about. Not sure I do.
