Yes, riders like YW, Rocky, Trialsman, GoldWingerGreg, and a few others including myself have influenced what joe blow buys for his/her motorcycle. Isn't the idea to find riders who have already gone down the path you want to go down and talk to them so you are not reinventing the wheel?
you missed the point. kyle petty gets paid for ever sticker on his car, even though he has not won a race in a very very very long time and gave it all up. Tony Stewart and jeff gordon also cover their cars in stickers and i suspect they get paid for it too. I personally take the dealership name off my vehicle as soon as i buy it, regardless of a good deal or not. i don't wear nike t shirts. no free advertising from me. but, if traxion want to cut me a deal in exchange for wearing their sticker, I might be persuaded.

so are "YW, Rocky, Trialsman, GoldWingerGreg, and a few others including myself " the elite few i should pay attention to and copy ? haha too funny!

By God Man! Have you been holding back some hostilities from us gentle readers here? WTF?

Granted DJ can be a little smug with all his youthful exuberance but if you are going to get all fired up you could at least be a bit more creative.

Like this: so kitesurfer I hear you are so jealous that some of these guys get to ride so much that you are going to put realistic bug splatter stickers on your bike and take some pictures to try and fit in?

I just got to think you should sign up for one of yellow wolfs "training" sessions.

You could grow up to be just like him someday. You might not want to ask to borrow any of Rocky's tools though nor ask some expert advice from Greg, and watch out for trialsman as he might run over your toes with a square tire.

Too crazy, did your little trip to the hotbox distort your perception of the world or what?

I only have one piece of advice and that is only the really, really, "cool" kids around here have flat bed trailers and you best get some very realistic looking splattered bug stickers as there are some pretty keen eyes around these parts and even DJ can ride his bike sorta good when he is having a good day.

And whatever you don't even attempt to keep up with that Zachybilly guy from Mississippi but if you really want to get something functional and affordable as well as impresses the other kids in summer camp you should get a Z-ball for your hitch.

Section 168, I've always gotten a chuckle out of name droppers

good to see you back from vacation. you said..."Too crazy, did your little trip to the hotbox distort your perception of the world or what?" i do check it out occasionally, but it is not what i expected. i'm sure you will perk it up again. don't really know what i expected, so don't ask.

Come on kitesurfer are you trying to back away from a good pissing match now and reinvent your "meaning" through translation of your "point"?

No fair. And your explanation won't fly as yellow wolf is to short the sponsors won't go for him unless he breaks his dragon record with no second or third gear or some other sort of shenigians to get folks talking.

like it or not, you have made a reputation for yourself. YELLOW WOLF t shirts would sell! you may not be able to retire, but you might get a tire or two paid for. i'm planning on the darkside ride in...face to face...beer to beer

I have not meet any of these guys but something tells me they don't bluff and have way more bite than bark when the wheels are rolling over the road.

But heck I got the coolest trailer on the block in my minds eye and have never been too bashful but I do "gots" to stick up for the guys I am pretty sure I might be able to learn something from if I ever do cut their trail.

Besides out here in the general population forums you have to be at least sort of polite even if you are starting a pissing match just for no reason but a few grins.

Really like the anti chrome look you are going with. When I finally get to buy a new one it will less chrome the better.

Ya know, YW, you literally could sell t-shirts.

Go to the website called CafePress and create an account. Take a picture of your bike, then type in "The Yellow Ones Really are Faster," and you have a product. Zero cost. Hardly any fuss. You don't print them or ship them. CafePress does all that then sends you a check. (If you want me to set up a "store" for you, send a PM.)

Who else wants a genuine Yellow Wolf T-shirt?

After reading this thread, I went out to my Yellow bike and instantly had an idea!

If you are looking for the 'authentic' race bike theme, you NEED a number plate on the nose and one on each bag! A big white circle with a number- maybe (01) or (02) to represent the model year of your bike.

Can't wait for full photos when complete.

installed upgraded under mirror lights to piaa 910's last nite with under mirror brackets.

i wish the lights could have gone on top of the brackets but due to i aim them in an x pattern for twisty road nite riding this was the only choice,i like and they work great!!!

Looking good Rick, I took pictures of our bikes when you parked up at the Gap right beside mine, (I had the other yellow one), it's cool to see 2 bikes that were identical when new, but vastly different when the owners make them there own. Keep up the work, love the ideas!! Todd
