    Default Updating a Garmin 660

A friend has a Garmin 660 GPS. I'm going to go over to his place and help him download new maps. I did this a few years back on my Garmin 765, just plugged it into the computer and everything downloaded fine, took about 2 hours. Just wondering if anyone has done this with the 660 and if it is as easy or there something I should be aware of?

Nothing new in the process. It does take awhile tho. Just did a 1450 twice (speaker went bad on first one)

Thank you for the answer. I have a PC and he has a MAC but I guess that shouldn't matter

    Default pretty straightforward

I upgraded my 660 maps last week...No surprises but it did take about 7 hours....Once it started I left the house and returned that night and the prompt said my maps had been upgraded..
