Dates for Virginia Riders Gathering 2012

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all are enjoying the great spring weather and getting in a few rides. We have decided to have what we hope will be a fantastic Virginia Riders Gathering ( and of course including surrounding area riders ) on the weekend of May 19th at Heavenly Acres Campground in Stanardsville, Va. I have attached a link to their website. I was able to secure their large community area which has a bonfire type pit and plenty of camping space surrounding it. Heavenly Acres also has cabins, cabooses, and great wooded tent sites. It is 10 miles from Skyline Drive off Rt. 33 and very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will probably be there from Friday the 18th through Monday the 21st. If you are interested please state so here and call Gary or Jan at the campground mentioning this gathering. They are great people and owners. There are great rides in all directions and we will be planning some rides we like. We will also map out some rides for those new to the area who want to venture out on their own with places to see and eat. We hope that many who responded positively earlier will make it. Who knows, this could be the beginning of a yearly event. We hope to see you there.

I'm there. Only Saturday, however. Could make it to a Saturday evening meal, too, if planned. I'll be "commuting" since I live only an hour away.
