Default Best Price for The F6B

What would be a great price from a dealer since this is a new model year???

I am sure some are getting exceptional deals. However, on a new model that seems to be getting a lot of praise, the going "deal" seems to be two thousand off MSRP. Several of us have tendered that deal and I felt pretty good about it.

$2000 off MSRP is, as Texas TC said, a very good deal (thanks for your sage advise ). However, you better act fast! I think the fantastic press reviews along with the return to riding season with the warmer weather will increase demand making dealers less likely to discount MSRP.

That seems to be the best deal out there. My local dealer (who didn't have them yet) wouldn't budge off of MSRP (+ the 390 dest fee). Southern Honda (Chattanooga) knocked $2002 off MSRP, waived the $390 dest fee, and give you $150 accessory credit.

I just picked up a new F6B from Hollywood Honda in of course...Hollywood, CA

Shopped every dealer in CA...these guys by far had not only the best price but EXCELLENT service was given to me by Mason and Reed! The manager Mike was very nice as well!!!

Cant wait to start riding it as I just came out of a 11 Victory Vision 8-Ball (and loved that bike as well)

My rule of thumb for buying a big bike from a dealer is: MSRP as the out-the-door price. With the big machines that will generally leave the dealer with some profit and it saves dickering over freight, set-up, and phony doc fees. If the dealer won't sell at that price I move on to the next dealership. That system doesn't work well with models that are hot sellers or small bikes that don't have much profit in them, but by and large I've bought bikes using my method for many years now.

New wings are marked up 20 percent total counting holdbacks. So if you get 2k knocked off, he is still making a fair profit of 2k. My policy is don't get stuck with the unnecessary doc fees etc. When you walk, they have a way of disappearing.

3k off MSRP is ~common~ if you don't mind a little travel. I'm having one painted by Honda of Russellville with a few farkles added for ~1k under~ MSRP (plus my states T, T, and L)

These things must not be selling as well as Honda expected. That's quite a cut off MSRP

    Default yes

Honda sets the MSRP, not the selling price. What an individual dealer decides to sell for, is that dealers choice. Some dealers find it a reasonable plan to sell many bikes at a lower price point, than to sell fewer at a higher price. One reason, that you might not realize, is that manufacturers commonly offer incentives at the end of the year based on a sliding scale. The more bikes that the dealer buys, the bigger the rebate (per unit sold) from the manufacturer.

    Default Took the plunge

Well couldn't bear to be without a Wing, (The 1998 needs a clutch and a little TLC to get her back happy again). Friday, I bought the F6B Deluxe Black for 2000 off MSRP and the dealer ate the prep. Seems to be the going rate.
