Not disagreeing with your attendance numbers, but, are these numbers reflective only of GWRRA members or total attendance? Seem like very low numbers.

GWRRA announced that the 2015 WingDing will be held over Labor Day Weekend instead of July 4th . Reasons include cheaper gas, lodgings and of course a bit cooler too.

I would love to see steamboat springs, co also but if you look at a map of members the most live on the east cost and it's all about numbers not scenery. I would love to do a Colorado or New Mexico wing ding

Wouldn't mind seeing it back at the Lake of the Ozarks MO. Pretty good riding in the area as far as hills and curves. Springfield is just too busy of an area and Branson is just a busy tourist trap.

Couldn't agree more. Given the average age of Wing riders, school age children isn't a concern, so why not hold it when the temperature is more comfortable.

Default started a thread on the WI board...

I started a thread on the WI board for riders to list great riding places, places of interest and places to RTE. Check it out...there are lots of neat places that will get missed if you concentrate only on Madison.

Our club rode to Mt. Horab for the Mustard Festival a few years ago...Then a couple years later we were somewhere near Dayton, OH for the Duct Tape Festival.

Thanks for that. Wait 'til we shut down the rivers and forests and oilsands and see how wonderful life is for yis south of the 49th. Not that it would happen, but that's a rather narrow point of view on your part.
