Default Fairfield/ Concord / Napa area installer?

Checked with Wing Nut and Cycle Gear in Fairfield, and America's Tire in Vacaville, where I bought the tire. No dice. Anyone used an installer in this area?

Edit; Found a Concord installer. PM me if you need the place.

What's with Wingnut? I thought they'd do the job.

Most custom bike shops should be able and willing to do it, or a tire shop that sells custom wheels. Tell them its for the left rear of a trike or trailer if you have to.
My local bike shop has no problem with it. He even had to have the tire shop next door help with my Dunlop RF because of the stiff sidewall.

Does this tire make my butt look fat?

Hey Wayne, I haven't had any problem getting mine mounted at America's Tire. I just walk in with the wheel and tire and tell em it's for a trailer. Not sure they believe that, but they mount it up none the less. A friend here also has used Schwab's Tire the same way. As a last resort we have a local bike shop here that works mainly on Harley's and he has no problem taking care of Darksider's.

I'm guessing that Americas Tire would have done it, except there is a moto tire on the wheel now. I told them it was a sidecar wheel, and they said they'd do it. When they saw the motorcycle tire, they said they could not.

I can tell you from experience in my Central FL world, it is most difficult to get the tire mounted. That's the only downside to the CT that I can find. I have found a independent m/c show guy that said he'd do it, but getting him to committ was like some CIA operation.

Hoping the independent shop near where I work will do it. I drove in today with my wheels and tires.

I may have to travel to up to Scott's local shop to get it put on if this does not work.

Found a Concord area installer. He said he'll do it off the books. Doesn't want a record of it, guess in case I crash and burn, LOL. Asked me if others were trying it on a forum or domething. I said yup. Said he had done the same for someone on a Vulcan.

If anyone needs a Concord area installer, PM me.
