What year is the bike? I think the 2009 models went to a 180 tire and that may allow the extra width to support a CT.

All different years Murgie, lots of interest from several riders. I am hoping for group similar to ours here to save me a lot of web time. I know they are narrow like 130/90/15 is one.A couple are late model wide glides, one fatboy, it goes on & on.

I belive a lot of the older harley bikes could run a Volkwagon tire .
the Newer bike I don't think there is enough room without the tire rubbing the primary belt. There might be a tire that would work , but it probbly be a special order. I could be wrong good luck on your search.

Old days most choppers ran 4x4x16 truck tires on the rear. Most modern HD's have bias plys so are already a step up from the stock gl tires. The only stock HD that is CT ready is the Vrod as it has a rim wide enough for a CT.
