I just got a "Mental" picture of Mikey trying to open a new plastic grocery bag to put the groceries in.... Poor guy is goin' to starve...

All set to record the final episode tonight, I will probably regret watching it...

RIP OCC!

I'll bet they didn't pay for most of that fancy equipment they have.

If Mikey had anyone handling his finance he shouldnt have to work again. If he did it himself and blew it all, thats a different tune.

Watched the last two shows last night.

As I thought, pretty much a waste of my time.

Nothing new, other than all the yelling and screaming was missing. Sr and Jr seem to have picked up some "trophy" wives and everyone is in denial about the "Rest of the Family". Show has been dead for a long time, they just finally got around to burying it...

What I gathered from the last show was that Thanksgiving happened, therefore putting the time line in November/December for the bike build.

I was expecting a big teary send off, but to me it ended like any other show. Nothing special. No "end of show" talk.

Therefore, from that, I think the cancellation was a surprise cooked up in the last few weeks.

Perhaps the plan was to end filming "due to the holiday season" and restart sometime this year. I am sure ratings had something to do with the "non-renewal" of the contract.

It will be interesting to see if they come up with something to follow Jr or Mikey in the future.

Ratings had EVERYTHING to do with it. That's all a network cares about. Period. No ratings = no advertisers = no revenue.

They didn't pay for most of anything they have in the shop! Snap On donated a truck load of tool boxes filled with tools. Do you see them now? No! Now they have Kobalt tool boxes and tools. A local Hummer Dealer donated 3 new Hummers to them. Now one is for sale. On one of Sr.'s birthdays. Jr. contacted Polaris about being showcased on the show, for free. Polaris said yes, Jr. said ok what dealer do we go to for all the freebies? They went to my dealer with a truck and loaded it up. Said thanks. My friend called Polaris about it. They were told to give the OCC boys anything they wanted. They got ATV's, accessories, clothing. Ran up a rather large bill. They don't want to pay for anything. And they always got their way. Tom

American Chopper off the air? Oh teh noes!

Feh. Good riddance. A show about crappily-built motorcycles hacked together by a couple of screaming 2-year-old "adults"? I've said before if their "Miller Welding" bike was any indication of the quality of their work, they should have quit long, long ago. I saw the thing in person up close and I'd be ashamed to have my name associated with such a pile of crap!
