need help! tried to install an mp3 player that I bought from a member on the forum plugged it in ran the cable but when I push the cd button on my audio controls I get nothing no cd icon on the lcd screen and no power to the unit. unplugged the player and pushed the cd button and still nothing. so my question, is there a fuse that could be blown is the mp3 player bad or has that button on my audio controls just gone bad and is there a way to check it? any help or opinions are greatly appreciated. thanks Tim
Every once in a while my iPod interface will need un plugged and plugged back in again. First time I lost my toons I was pist! Then I was troubleshooting and never found anything. Next time I was in a hotel for the night and I just took a chance by pulling the plug and it worked fine. I'm not saying that will help you but it does wonders for mine.
Which mp3 player is it? Make sure the cable snapped when you plugged it in. Make sure the key is off when unplugging and plugging in. You made have to unhook the battery for a minute or so. I had problems like this with the first mp3 player.
well I figured out the problem with my MP3 player one of the pins that plugged into the MP3 player was broken off once I replaced it everything worked great. thanks for all the responses. Tim
