Default I'm a Idoit

Went and ran some arrands today 30 miles from home.
I got talking to a friend I meet in the store about fishing and hunting.

He showed me a big sale their running on brooms, awsome deal.

I bought two, walk out and forgot I rode the Goldwing shopping............

What a idoit. The store was nice enough to let me return them.

Reminds me the day my wife came home with a new broom, and I suggested the next time she should buy a "two seater".
It took a good week before I could come back in the house.

That is way too funny. It has happened to me a couple of times. You don't know how many times I wanted to pick up this that and the other thing for the Grandkids and my wife has to remind me that we are on the Wing.

A broom fits easily on the wing

So does an 8 foot 1x6

I brought a few 8 foot 2x4's home just the other day. Bungie cords and passenger footboards are your friend. Brooms would be easy - especially if they unscrew.

Things you say when it is time to trade your Wing for a cage:
1> It's too windy. I need a 24x36 screen and a bunch of deflectors so I am standing in an isochamber.
2> Too bumpy. This pillow-ride Cadillac of bikes is far too rough.
3> Balancing is too difficult. Better to trike or quad it.
4> Folding down the quick-release antennas is such a PITA.
5> I need tunnel fillers

Really, guys? It is a motorcycle!

I've never done it on the Wing...but did buy a whole shopping cart worth of groceries at Safeways one time...and then remembered I was riding my bycicle... They let me leave it by the service counter while I pedaled my **s home and got four wheels...

Smile Idoit?

At first, I thought your "I'm a Idoit" Title Line was in reference to the numerous spelling and writing mistakes in your post.

Funny

I went to the grocery store last summer, to get a few items

But they had a unreal sale on grilling steaks

I bought over $220 worth of groceries and they fit on the wing with ease, one bag had to go on the back seat, but no problem

Being distracted by such earth moving subjects as hunting and fishing (a man has his priorities) and purchasing an item that you were not prepared to carry doesn't make you an idiot.
The comment about the 2 seater broom however,,,,,,,,,,

Try bringing the stock windscreen and a co-rider back after having a Tulsa windscreen installed.... Good thing I only had to go back to the hotel and not all the way home....

about 95% of my STUFF gets hauled home on the wing

most of my groceries

hauled a bundle of shingles once, no problem

2 brooms once, the ends screwed off so that was hardly even worth mentioning

once a month a 40 pound bag of dogfood, no problem

printer no problem

recently bought ten 8 foot florecent lite bulbs, for safety reasons i resorted to using my pickup to haul them home

I ignore most of the poor spelling and grammar I see on this board, but I think it is fair to point out someone who says they are an IDOIT. Seriously? If you can't even spell the very word referring to your level of intelligence, then I say anyone if free to poke fun at you.

Honestly I thought he was trying to make a pun at first by misspelling the work idiot. I read it twice and came to the conclusion there was no pun intended. Just a guy with a good self-diagnosis!

This is an Internet forum, not a nuclear decision paper. People of all walks of life, all income brackets, all education levels and all intelligence levels are on here. This is not the classroom and I would hope that it is used for entertainment first and foremost, then for motorcycle related information. Maybe the other way around, depends on the individual. I can spend the time and write much much better than I do on here. But, I prefer not to make it an act of labor. If you are going to worry about someone elses spelling and grammar capabilities on a board like this, maybe you are in the wrong board. Maybe a board that has the north east aristocracy or the Notre Dame elites in it. This is a working man's board, not a gathering of Pulitzer Prize winners. Although there may be a few down to earth folks on here and haven't said so.

I tend to think that the problem isn't the spelling or grammar, it's a personallity conflict more than spelling.
