Default 2010 Rogers Ar goldwing ride in

This is to announce the hotel and date details for the 2010 Rogers Arkansas Goldwing Ride In.

The dates will be Thursday April 22, thru Sunday April 25, 2010. You are welcome to stop in any or all of these dates, whatever your schedule will allow.

I have secured the same hotel as the last two years, but at a little better price this time. $69 per room at the Homewood Suites, Rogers Arkansas.

http://homewoodsuites1.hilton.com/en...ansas/index.do

You can call the hotel directly, and mention the Honda Goldwing Group, for the group discount. You can also use the link and book online, just use group code, HGW, in the group rate box. I have a large block of rooms, but they will sell out, so dont wait and get left out, and have to stay elsewhere.

Rooms are $69 per night, the hotel will also honor the rate for Sunday nite the 25th, if you choose to stay over.

Room choices are double queen suite, king suite, and king studio. All are avaible at $69, and will be assigned on a first booked basis.

The hotel is a 4 star hilton property.

All rooms incude

wireless inet free
32 inch tv, or two or three
in room full kitchen
in room dining area
in room work desk
breakfast each day

Event plans are still being ironed out at this time, I will post them when they are completed. Last year we had Goldwing riders from 27 states, come and join in on the fun.

We just scheduled our vacations at work last week, and this was my first choice in our "round robin" way of doing it. The wife & I will be there Thursday afternoon, leave Sunday morning. I've been trying to talk a new "winger" at work into going this year, so we might bring a tag along couple with us!

Reservations made. Arrive on Thursday and leave Sunday. Can't wait to see some of you old people again! Hope it's not as windy this year as it was last year.

Loren...do we need to do anything such as registration?

Not at this time

I just wanted to get the hotel info out there and let folks start planning and getting vacation time set up

I have lots of loose ends to tie up to make the final schedule, and then take names and numbers as to who wants to do whatever

Just in case any of you are retired military you can get a room at the same place for less than $69 just go online and click the military rate. If I rememeber correctly it's $49 but I might be off a bit. Checking my schedule to see if I can get there.

I called Homewood today about this. The rate for Military is $70.00 and the Goldwing Ride-In rate is $69.00. Military discount cannot be applied to the rally reate.

Loren,

Just made my reservations arriving on Wednesday and departing on Saturday as I need to be back to Colorado Sunday evening so that I can head out on our "spring ride" with my buddies. It looks like we are going down to Arizona for a week, so this will be a great way to start out the riding season. I have never ridden in the Ozarks (going across I-40 does not count!!!!) and I wish I had more time, but it will still be nice to hook up with everyone and get in a couple of days for riding.

Really looking forward to this, and thanks much.

Addition: And always the possibility of staying Saturday night also and then heading towards western NM on Sunday to hook up with my buds on the spring ride on Monday evening.

This is just a two hour ride over so maybe I can get loose and come over one day. I'll put it on the Calendar.

Just call them. Just as quick and easy and the folks at the desk know what you are talking about when you tell them that you are coming for the Goldwing rally.

Probably because you were including a day that was not in the set of blockes rooms, ie Wednesday night. I actually booked starting Thursday night on-line, then called the hotel where they took my confirmation number and added Wednesday night at the same rate. Great service and friendly staff.

Dave and anyone else

If that works by calling and adding an earlier night, thats super, they didnt want to do that, since they sell out to walmart vendors on sunday to wednesday nites all the time

Once you get to the hotel, you will understand why everyone loves it. Its a Hilton property, they do tend to take care of the guests.

I've put in my request at work to have those days off... and am working on getting at least one of my brothers to take me down for the weekend.

It'll be a year since my accident, but would really love to see/visit with everyone and of course ride (even as a passenger) the great roads, and eat some great BBQ!!!

Anyone going from WI - let me know, maybe we can coordinate a "group" ride on the way down!
