Wingstock in the spring! Can't get enough of the fantastic roads in Ga in the fall? Meet up with us in Blairsville, Ga for a weekend of riding some of the best roads in the country! After riding, we will meet for some of the best BBQ to meet a plate and then off to the parking lot for a few cold ones and lots of bragging about who is the fastest or slowest!

Blairsville is in a central location and a short ride to the more common roads that we like to ride. You can be at the start of Wolf Pen Gap in about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Wayah Rd is about 30 minutes or so and the Gap and Cherohala are slightly further away but easily accessible. This location also puts us closer to lots of roads over on the eastern side of Franklin, NC. Meridien and a lot of the Ga boys have some experience over there if you are looking for something new. The ride that DDKing took us on last year at WingStock was some of the best riding I have done up that way. Don't ask me where they are though!

I have 20 rooms blocked, so we need to reserve that minimum for this rate.

Blairsville is located in Union County which is a dry county but you can get beer and wine in Blue Ridge which is about 10 minutes away.

Yep, I have to learn to ride all over again everytime I go back up there. That's why I go up a few days early! It'll be good to see everyone again, Been too long...

I'll be there, probably Thursday afternoon. I'm planning to leave the Chicago area early Thursday morning (5am or so). Might change my mind and leave early Wednesday AM, not sure at this point.

Since I live in Hiawassee, (20 miles away) I'll try to show up for the rides. I attended Wingstock a couple years ago and had a blast.
I've ridden the roads up here for eleven years and don't know of any that are better.

I live near Glencoe, AL and was wondering if anyone will be coming from this area (or go thru on your way up). I am not all that good a map reader and would like to ride with someone rather than spend the weekend wandering thru-out the GA mountains lost and alone.

Come on folks - I can't wait for May. Winter has been relentless this year; not really cold, not a huge amount of snow; it just seems to be dragging on and on.

We actually saw 40 degrees today and that hasn't happened for a while. You can finally tell the days are getting longer.

I hear via the grapevine that there's going to be an announcement about hookers and bikes fairly soon.

Yeah we're gonna be there. I think I'm meeting up with HasteMaker and his bride on Thursday AM and (I thought) meeting Joe on the way over. Of course Blairsville is in his backyard anyway!
