Can the rear wheel be removed with the bike on its centerstand? Also does the rear fender assembly have to be removed or can it be tilted and taken out from under the left saddle bag?
Thanks

this is what i was told to do as i have tow hitch fitted & it works,
put some carpet or sunlounger pad on ground then tip the bike on it's right side putting the saddlebag bar & engine guard on the protection then the wheel can be remove by sliding it out.loosen wheel nuts before you put it on the side.
if you have no tow hitch remove centre rear fender & wheel will lift off & remove towards the rear.loosen wheel nuts while in reverse or get someone to apply rear brake.

It just takes a couple of minutes to remove the rear fender and brace. Five bolts holds the fender on, then it snaps off. The tire will roll right out the back.

Not enough clearance to remove it unless you do want to lay the bike on it's side.

Yes, the rear wheel can be removed with the bike on the center stand. I've never tried working it out under the saddlebag. I just remove the rear fender section like it recommends in the owners manual, it's easy to do, five screws in the tupperware and a couple more in the brace underneath.

I can only speak for the 06 that I have but you also need to remove the seat inorder to release the connector for the audio amplifier to be able to roll the tire out rearward.

This method did not work for me. The rear wheel does not have enough clearance to be removed as it is also resting on the ground when the bike is tipped. It is also impossible to get the nuts started on the studs when trying to put it back on. Only way I could get the nuts back on was to have my brother tip the bike just a little more. Good thing he weighs 250 or .....
